from their moist skin the earthworms take breath
Worms do not have lungs but they breathe through there skin. it take in oxygen through its skin and air goes right into its bloodstream. its skin must stay wet in order for the oxygen to pass through skin, but if worm is in too much water It will drown. Just keep it damp, moist and slimy. Although if the water has lots of air in it, It can stay under for a long time.
