Modern periodic table was proposed by H.J. Moseley .
He said the periodic table depend on atomic number .
He found that each element emits a characteristics pattern of X-rays when subjected to bombardment by high energy electrons .By analyzing the X-RAYS patterns, He was able to calculate the number of positive charges in the atoms of respective elements . After knowing the atomic numbers of elements , it was recognized that a better way of arranging the elements in the periodic table is according to the increasing atomic number .
The periodic law is changed from atomic weight concept to atomic number concept is known as the Modern Periodic Table .

Answer:
Modern Periodic Table, also known as the Periodic Table, is a tabular arrangement in which chemical elements are arranged according to their atomic numbers, configuration of electrons and chemical properties. A Modern Periodic Table consists of four block, i.e., the “S”, “P”, “D” and “F” blocks.
