Agro based industries are those industries which depend on agricultural products as raw materials .
Example- Cotton textile industry use cotton as raw material and then process them to make dresses.
These industries have huge base in our country because agricultural activities contribute about 30percent to our national gross domestic products and about 65percent for labour force is based on the agriculture.
