Explain briefly about how cerebrum works?

cerebrum directs the conscious.It is the centre for hearing,smelling (olfactory),memory,thoughts, action,seeing and much more.
Upper motor neurons in the primary motor cortex send their axons to the brain stem and spinal cord to synapse on the lower motor neurons. Damage to motor areas of cortex can lead to certain types of motor neuron disease. 
by this method signals are passed between brain and other parts.

The cerebrum is the largest part of the brain.it forms the upper part of brain. The cerebrum controls the funcyion of the body, speech, emotion, vision memory ,reading ,writing, learning.the cerebrum is divided into four lobes that Frontal lobe Parietal lobe Occipital lobe Temporal lobe.
