Heart is located in the chest between the lungs behind the sternum slightly to the left side. It functions as a DOUBLE PUMP organ. At the same time heart recieves deoxygenated blood from body pass it to the lungs and simultaneously recieves oxygenated blood from lungs and supply it to body.
