Gases can be liquefied by increasing the pressure and decreasing the temperature. Increasing the temperature will bring the particles closer and cooling will cause the particles to lose energy.thus, they will again be attracted towards each other by intermolecular attraction and they form liquids

Answer:

Gases can be liquified by applying pressure and lowering the temperature.

Explanation:

On applying pressure the gaseous particles come closer and start attracting eachother.

When gas is compressed too much then hear is produced due to compression. So, while applying pressure to liquify the gas it is necessary to cool it to take away the heat produced during compression.

Hope this will help you!!!!
