Regeneration is the type of asexual reproduction. It is the growth of an organism from a part of the body. It is a power or ability of a living organism to re-grow the part of the body that gets broken off or cut.When it has involvement with asexual reproduction, then the broken part regenerate into new individual of the same type.
Regeneration in Hydra
1. when the body of Hydra by any means is cut into a no. of pieces
2.each place contain a specialized cell
3.regeneration is carried out by specialized cell. These cell proliferate and make large no.of cells
4.From their mass of cell, different cells undergo changes to become various cell type and tissue.
5. These changes takes place in an organised sequence referred to as a development which finally leads to the development of a new organism.
