Answer:

velocity :- it is the change in position of an object with respect of time and refrence of frame. It is a vector quantity. It's SI unit is m/s2

Acceleration :- it is the change in velocity per unit unit . it can be negative as well as positive. Negative acceleration is also called retradation. For eg. a car starting from rest . this si an example of positively accelerated motion.

Velocity

Distance travelled by the object in the given time period in particular direction

or

Rate of change of displacement

or

Speed of an object in a specific directions

Velocity=displacement/time

SI unit = metre

CGS unit=cm

It is a vector quantity

Acelaration

rate of change of velocity is called acceleration.

or

changed in velocity of unit time

Acceleration=change in velocity/time

Acceleration=final velocity - initial v velocity/time

SI unit = m/s^2 or ms^-1

CGS unit - cm/s^2

It is a vector quantity
