• a) Features such as bright flowers, scent and nectar enable insects to get attracted to the flowers. In this way, these plants can transfer pollen from one plant to another through insects.

• b) Hanging, long stamens allow better opportunity for pollen to be carried through wind in plants which do not produce flowers. Such plants also produce more, light weighted pollen so that it can easily be dispersed by wind to far off places.

• c) Plants having both male and female parts are called as hermaphrodite.  The anthers and stigma in such plants mature at the same time so that pollination can take place in the same plant.
