Barasat is the district headquarter of Dhokra village. As per 2009 stats, Dadpur is the gram panchayat of Dhokra village.

The total geographical area of village is 182.14 hectares. Dhokra has a total population of 2,015 peoples. There are about 385 houses in Dhokra village.
