paddy is a kharif season crops which is grown in the onset of monsoon and continue still the beginning of winter June-July to September October.
recently paddy has also become an important crop of Punjab and Haryana.
states like freezer and West Bengal, three crops of paddy are grown in a year. these are Aus, aman and Boro.
