Ethics are values in action. For the individual, personalvalues result in an individual code of conduct, which then translates into choices and behaviors. For the person as a professional, the values of the field are reflected in a code of ethics, which is translated into standards to guide practice.Ethical values are the ones we make ethical choices based on them, or they are the kind of values that have to do with being good or doing the right thing. There are many ethical values. Justice, honesty, empathy,compassion, respect and responsibility are the most important ones.Ethics and values are important within a business organisation because they influence morals and decisions within an organisation and need to be present in order to promote business sustainability.
