Explain briefly the seven social sins described by Gandhiji.

Although these sins are called as Gandhi's seven sins, but Gandhi borrowed these sins from Frederick Lewis Donaldson. These were referred to as seven deadly social sins by Frederick Lewis donaldson.
These sins are :
● wealth without work is the first sin described by Mahatma Gandhi. He says that earning by unfair means is not at all good.
● Pleasure without conscience is the second sin listed by Gandhi. He says that happiness earned at the expense of others is no less than a sin.
● knowledge without character is the third sin listed by Gandhi. According to him if a man has all the knowledge but no character then that man is of no value to the society.
● fourth sin is carrying business without morality. business should be carried in a fair and proper manner and it should not be based on cheating.
● next on the list is science without humanity, there is no meaning of being technologically developed if a society can't yield better human brings.
● religion without sacrifice is the sixth sin listed by Gandhi, he says that the present day religion is a mere show of rituals which won't lead society anywhere.
● the last sin listed by Gandhi is politics without principle today's politics is completely based on greed and power and there are no moral or ethical values left in the world politics.
