nucleous is covered by a double and porous membrane called nuclear membrane.It has chromatin material which is in the form of thread like structures.during division, chromatin changes into rod-shaped structures called chromosomes. Chromosomes are made up of DNA and protein.functional segments of DNA are called gemes. Genes are responsible for transfer of characters from perents cell to daughter cell.
nucleous controls all the cellular processes as well as transfers characters from parents cell to daughter cells.
