Polarization :- Polarization (also polarisation) is a property applying to transverse waves that specifies the geometrical orientation of the oscillations. .......transverse waves that exhibit polarization include electromagnetic waves such as light and radio waves, gravitational waves and transverse sound waves in solids.
Polarizability :- is the ability to form instantaneous dipoles. It is a property of metal . Polarizability is determine the dynamical response of a bound system to external fields, and provide insight into a molecules internal structure. In a solid, polarizability is defined as the dipole moment for unit volume of the Crystal cell.
Electric polarizability :-
is the relative tendency of a charge distribution, like the electron cloud of an atom or molecule, and consequent of any material body, to have it charges displaced by any external electric field, which in the uniform cases applied typically by a charged parallel - plate capacitor.
Magnetic polarizability :- define by spin interactions of nucleons is an important parameter of deuterons and hadrons. In particular, measurement of tensor polarizability of nucleons yields important information about spin-dependent nuclear forces.
