Answer:
Multi-user system:
It is a system with multiple users that permits users to access the single operating system in a single system. Large mainframe systems are commonly used in a multi user system.
Example: Mac OS, Unix, Ubuntu, Linux, and Windows 2000.
Working of Multi-user system:
- A multi-user system contains a single system that can be used by multiple users and can view their local view of the system. This view is called a working space.
- If one user changes anything in his local view working space that is not displayed to other users until the user saved in a master system. The master system can be placed anywhere on the network.
