In theory, absolute zero is the temperature at which the particles of matter - molecules and atoms - are at their lowest energy points and so stop moving altogether. In the Celsius scaleit is −273.15° and in the Fahrenheitscale it is −459.67°. Matter cannot reach below zero Kelvin, therefore it isalways positive.
