Bryophyta, the division of green plants, refers to embryophytes which in literal terms, are land plants, especially the non-vascular ones. This division includes-
- Mosses – class Bryopsida
- Liverworts – class Marchantiopsida
- Hornworts – class Anthocerotopsida
