•Carbohydrates:

Carbohydrates are partially reduced or broken in the buccal cavity, saliva contains salivary amylase which breaks down carbohydrates into simple sugars like dextrins and maltose. These molecules are then thoroughly mixed with chyme. After reaching the pancreas through stomach and oesophagus, there it is further reduced. Pancreatic Amylase further breaks dextrins and maltose into fructose, galactose and glucose. Then these substances are transported to all the cells. Excess of glucose is stored as glycogen

•Proteins:

Proteins are reduced to peptides and peptones in the stomach. The gastric juice produced by stomach consists of pepsinogen which reduces the proteins. Proteins are also digested by an enzyme called trypsin in the pancreas

•Fat molecules:

Larger far molecules are broken down into smaller ones for better action of lipase on them. This process is known as Emulsification of fats. Lipase is an enzyme that digests fats. They are reduced into glycerol and fatty acids

Answer:

These enzymes include proteases to break down proteins, lipases thatdigest fats and more amylase to finish splitting carbohydrates. Fats are broken down into fatty acids and glycerol, proteins into peptides and amino acids, and carbohydratesbecome simple sugars such as glucose and fructose
