Carbon forms covalent bonds

Due to its tetra valency carbon forms a large number of compounds.we also need to learn the bond formation.Compound btw carbon and hydrogen is known as hydrocarbon.There are 3 types of hydrocarbons.They are:

1)Alkanes(General formula CnH2n+2)

2)Alkenes(General Formula CnH2n)

3)Alkynes(General Formula

CnH2n-2)
