Answer

\bigstar Characteristics of plane mirror :-

  • The image formed in the plane mirror will always be upright. It will never be upside-down.
  • The image formed by a plane mirror is erect, little inverted and the image will be in the same size as the object.
  • The left side of the object appears on the right side in the reflected image.
  • The distance of the object from the plane mirror is same as the distance between the plane mirror.

\bigstar Characteristics of concave mirror :-

  • The surface of the mirror will be bulged inwards. It will be in the shape of cave in which it's known as a concave mirror.
  • With distance, the size of the reflection or the image of the object changes.
  • When the object is closer to the mirror, the size of the image is bigger.
  • When the object is moves away from the mirror, the size of the image becomes smaller always.
