Explain charles babbage 's role in the history of modern computers?
Answers
Answer:
Babbage was among the first to truly try to make a computer/calculator starting with his difference engine and the design of the more complete analytical engine. His design was solid, but the machining of the time couldn’t produce the gears needed (and the power needed to turn the system would have been a problem).
His assistant Ada Byron Lovelace developed the concept of iteration and many other basic programming concepts like that as she was the first programmer.
Charles Babbage was considered to be the father of computing after his concept, and then later the invention of the Analytical Engine in 1837. The Analytical Engine contained an Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU), basic flow control, and integrated memory; hailed as the first general-purpose computer concept.
