when an impulse arrives at the axon terminal it stimulate the moment of the synaptic vesicles towards the membrane and fuses with the plasma membrane of presynaptic neurone and release neurotransmitters to the synaptic cleft which binds to the specific receptors present on the postsynaptic membrane and opens Ion channels allowing the entry of science this generate a new potential in the postsynaptic neurone
