Heya friend,

The Civil court relate to disputes over property , marriage , money , rent matters , purchase of goods , etc. They also include the infringement or violation of rights of individuals. There are civil laws to settle and decide civil cases.

Criminal court involve offences like robberies , murders , cheating , harassing of women , beating , violence , kidnapping , etc. Tax evasion is also a criminal offence. The criminal cases began with the lodging of an FIR (First Indian Report). In case the crime is proved , the accused can be either sent to jail or fined or in some cases both fined and jailed.
