This movement was started by Gandhi ji in 1930. Reasons why he started this movement - (1) The most important reason is the Great Depression . (2) Failure of Simon Commission.
(3)Denied from Gandhi ji Eleven Demands. This is movement was supported by big businessman because they where in effect of great depression. Bt due to some reason Gandhi ji decided to withdraw this movement - (1)He felt that Satyagrahis needs proper training. (2) The movement turned violent .. (3)Some Congress leader wanted to participate in the election.
