Answer: russian civil war was a multi-party civil war in the former Russian Empire immediately after the two Russian Revolutions of 1917, as many factions vied to determine Russia's political future. The two largest combatant groups were the Red Army, fighting for the Bolshevik form of socialism led by Vladimir Lenin, and the loosely allied forces known as the White Army, which included diverse interests favouring political monarchism, economic capitalism and alternative forms of socialism, each with democratic and anti-democratic variants. In addition, rival militant socialists and non-ideological Green armies fought against both the Bolsheviks and the Whites.

Answer:

When Lenin of the bolshevik party ordered land redistribution then the Russian army started to disintegrate as a lot of these army officials and soldiers were form of peasants.

This angered the non bolshevik socialists, the supporters of autocracy and the liberals.

these angry leaders went to the south of Russia where they started to organise troops. They called the bolshevisk the reds, pro autocracy leaders were called the whites and the socialist revolutionaries who called the Greens.

The people who were against bolsheviks had large portion of Russian empire in their hands. they were supported by the French English Japanese and American troops were afraid and alarmed at looking at the spreading socialism in Russia.

The white treated thepeasants who cultivated they seized very badly and this made them lose popular support.

Bolshevik gained most of Russia by 1920. They was supported by the Muslim jaddists

during the civil war the banks and industries were nationalised and the peasants were allowed to cultivate the land they had captured. moreover language confiscated to demonstrate how collective farming should work.

However the the bolshevik colonists in kiva in Central Asia killes a large number of nationalist in the name of defending socialism.

this made a lot of people wonder what exactly the ideals of the bolsheviks were.

to make up for the bad deeds the bolsheviks granted political autonomy to the non Russian nationality is is in the USSR a newly formed state. just to improve what they had done but it was not afraid improvement as the bolsheviks you still against the practice of nomadism.

Hope this helps
