There are three types of developement goals.
1)Common
2)Different
3)Conflicting

Common goals- Many people may have common goals such as their freedom and income.Common goals may also include friendship.

Different goals-Different people might have different developement goals. For example- for farmers there must be developement of land for good irrigation. Also if a person is unemployed then they have goals for employment opportunities.

Conflicting goals- These are those type of goals where there might be development goal for one person but on the other hand it is harmful for the other.

Answer:

Different persons can have different developmental goals. What may be development for one may not be development for another. A  girl expects as much freedom and opportunity as her brother, and that he also shares in the household work. Her brother may not like this. Similarly, to get more electricity, industrialists may want more dams. but this may submerge the land and disrupt the lives of people who are displaced- such as tribal.

Hope it helps!
