solution:

there is kind of a difference between differential amplifiers and op amps. i think an op amp is a type of differential amplifier but don't quote me on that:). the main thing about differential amplifiers is that the input voltage is taken to be between specific two nodes instead between ground and a specific node as it is in a regular amplifier.
