A Capacitor Start Motors are a single phase Induction Motor that employs a capacitor in the auxiliary winding circuit to produce a greater phase difference between the current in the main and the auxiliary windings. The name capacitor starts itself shows that the motor uses a capacitor for the purpose of the starting.

- Construction of Permanent Split Capacitor • This device has a cage rotor and two windings,i.e, main and auxiliary.

• It also consists of a capacitor interconnected in series with the initial winding.

• Also it's connected to the circuit at both the windings.

- Working of Permanent Split Capacitor

• Permanent Split Capacitor has a motor which uses capacitor as a device which stores and then further releases electrical charge amongst any of the windings for the increment of the current amongst those two windings.
