"Typically information is defined in terms of data, knowledge in terms of information and the content is derived in terms of data and information . Data is being referred to as the things known or assumed as facts that forms the basis of reasoning or calculation. As data doesn't convey the meaning on it's own .

As with information, content is a set of data. Unlike information, content is defined objectively: it is the set of data used to deliver a particular message.
