Answers
Explanation:
Streaming movement is also called as cytoplasmic streaming, protoplasmic streaming, cyclosis. It is the movement of the cytoplasm within a cell. It transports nutrients and organelles within cells. It is of two types, namely rotation and circulation. Rotation streaming movement is exhibited by Hydrilla Vallisneria plants. In this, the cytoplasm moves either clockwise or anti-clockwise around a larger central vacuole. Circulation streaming movement is exhibited by the plants like Tradescantia. In this, the cytoplasm moves in both clockwise and anticlockwise directions around many smaller vacuoles. The movement is mediated by motor proteins. In this, the motor proteins, microfilament or microtubule move organelles and other molecules through the cytoplasm. Myosin molecules attached to organelles move with actin fibres and sweep cytoplasmic contents in the same direction.
