Cowards Die Many Times Before Their Deaths The Valiant Never Taste OfDeath But Once Meaning. Julius Caesar says "cowards die many times before their deaths/ The valiant never taste of death but once." ... I believe that Shakespeare is using Julius Caesar to make note of the difference between cowardice and bravery.
