These crops are grown in Punjab,Haryana,Himachal Pradesh,Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand.

2. Kharif Crops :-

These are sown during the monsoon (May to July) and harvested in September to October.

Major kharif crops are Paddy,maize,Jowar,bajra and cotton

Major areas where paddy is cultivated are Assam,West bengal,coastal regions of Odisha,Andhra Pradesh and Tamil nadu.

3. Zaid Crops :-

These are sown between Rabi and Kharif seasons (March - June).

Major zaid crops are Watermelon,Muskmelon,Cucumber,Vegetables and Fodder crops.
