The democracy in its political form demands popular sovereignty i.e. a government elected by the people, based on universal adult frenchise. Constituinalism, the rule of law, seperation of the powers among various organs of the government and secularism are the basic tenets of democracy.
The application of cardinal principles of the democracy in personal and social sphere demands that decisions should be taken on the basis of consultation and partcipation in the decision making process of all those who are going to be affected by that decision. Thus, in a factory if the decision on wages is to be taken it must include all stakeholders such as management and workers.
This is how we can apply principles of democracy in our lives:-
Dignity of individual: Democracy is based on the firm belief that every human being is an end in itself. In his personal life a person must abide by this basic principle. It involves compassion, empathy and solidarity with the people of his nation and the world.MARK AS BRAINLIEST
