The success of a federal regime in India can be attributed to many factors.

b. Besides political, power sharing arrangements between the centre and the states other factors /policies that are equally important to keep federal structure intact.

h. The political leadership of our country from time to time has responded to the conflicting claims by striking a balance between warring groups. We may give example of linguistic reorganisation of states, even creation of Telengana can be seen in this context.

i. The coalition government has also redefined federal structure with increased role of regional parties at the centre.

We may also give example of our language policy,The country in order to maintain its unity intact, has followed a unique language policy, to present the possible disintegration of the country and has given due recognition to varied languages.The constitution makers adopted English as the link language, to be used for official purposes, so as to appease the non hindi speaking states.
