Explain, despite increase in wages for workers in the early nineteenth century why the grievances of workers weren't relieved? ​

Due to lack of proper labour unions. The national labor union could not pass legislation and could not help workers to obtain higher salaries or better working conditions. In 1873, as the downturn began, a lot of workers lost their jobs and remaining interest in the Labor Union had disappeared

The employers could any time fire or blacklists the Unions. Even legislatures did not pass effective laws which supported employees in resolving their problems
  • In the 1920s there was a strong deterioration of the labour movement. In the sense of economic growth, the movement's lack of leadership and anti-unification feelings of employers and the government membership and operations had fallen dramatically.
