Evaporation is a type of vaporization of a liquid that occurs only on the surface of a liquid. Example is the seawater evaporating and forming into clouds.

Crystallization is the (natural or artificial) process of formation of solid crystals precipitating from a solution, melt or more rarely deposited directly from a gas. Example is the dry ice.

Evaporation takes place only at surface.

Crystallization takes place through out the container.
