Types of inheritance:

Inheritance is the process by which off springs tend to carry forward the characters of their parents in their generation and pass the same to their next generation.

Inheritance is of different types. A few are included here:

• Simple inheritance: Brown eye and blue eye in humans shows simple inheritance.

• Incomplete dominance: Red flower and white flower, Colour of Mirabilis jalapa shows incomplete dominance.

• Simple interaction: The head hood of rooster shows five types of structures because of  presence of two genes and their alleles, which interact with each other.

• Epistasis: The fur colour of dogs show this type of inheritance.
