Types of Quadrilaterals- The various types of quadrilaterals are
Parallelogram:-
A parallelogram is a quadrilateral with parallel opposite sides. In a parallelogram all the opposite sides are equal and the angles made by each opposite side is also equal.
Rectangle:-
The Rectangle is also a type of parallelogram with a little difference in the angles of the sides. In a rectangle, all the sides are at the right angle or to say perpendicular to each other.
Square:-
A square is a quadrilateral with all four sides equal. Every vertex of a square makes a right angle with its sides.
Rhombus:-
A rhombus is also a parallelogram but with all sides equal. he diagonals in a rhombus meet exactly in the middle at a right angle and are said to bisect with each other.
Trapezium:-
In a trapezium, all the sides may not be equal in measurement but one of the pairs of sides has to be parallel to each other.
There are 6 types of quadrilaterals.
1)Parallelogram
2)Rectangle
3)Square
4)Rhombus
5)Trapezium
6)Kite

Kite:-
Kite is a quadrilateral with two pairs of equal length sides and they are adjacent to each other.
