Digestive system is the system that is responsible for the digestion of food that you have eaten and produce energy in return .

There are many parts in digestive system :-

1. First of all , after eating the food , the food enters in the buccal cavity where it mixes with saliva and become soft
2. After that food , goes down with the help of gravity through the food pipe into the stomach
3. after that, food enters into the small intestine and then large intestine where the useful part of the food is absorbed by a finger - like structure (vili) and this food is then converted into energy in the mitochondria (power house of cell) of cell.
4. After , these processes , the waste particles along with undigested food , water (urine) is discharged through the anus
