COST AND MAINTENANCE- Unlike some other national resources, nuclear weapons cost quite a bit to own and can negatively affect the treasury. This may make it difficult for the nation to invest in other areas that they need to and may deter national growth.For example, Pakistan ,in its bid to stay ahead in arms race with India,spend a major portion of its national wealth on buying high tech nuclear weapons and technology when people their are dying of hunger. It has also substantially affected its GDP

2-ACCIDENTAL USE-There have been several reported cases where nuclear weapons were almost launched due to human error.Regardless of what else may have happened ,simple human error along with these weapons can result into the end of the world as we know it. In addition, computer programs can theoretically malfunction as well, accidentally starting a nuclear winter due to a software glitch.
