The graident of distance time graph represent the speed of the object . The velocity of an object is its speed in a particular direction .

When a body moves with uniform speed,it will travel equal distance in equal interval of time.In other words we can also say that ,the distance travelled is directly proportional to time.
Body moving with uniform speed:-
=>The distance time graph for a body moving with constant speed is always a straight line
=>It has constant slope.
Body moving with non-uniform speed:-
=>The distance time graph for a body moving with non-uniform speed is always curved.
