distillation is the process of extraction of substance .
there are two types of distillation :
1)fractional distillation : by fractional distillation we can get kerosene,diesel,petroleum,wax and many things from curde oil .
2)destructive distillation:
in destructive distillation we can extract oxygen liquid,nitrogen liquid,etc. from atmosphere or air.

Distillation is the method of getting a pure liquid from a solution by evaporating and the condensing the vapors. Ex - tap water, which is a mixture containing dissolved salts, is purified by distillation.
