DNA is Deoxyribonucleuc Acid.
-It consists of a double helical staircase made up of polynucleotide chains.
-Each nucleotide is made up of a nitrogenous base, phosphate group and pentose sugar. --
-DNA has a sugar phoshate backbone as the sugar part of one nucleotide will bond with the phosphate of another nucleotide. The image shows the n2 bases, their bonds in DNA and Chargaff's Rule.
-DNA model has been given by Watson and Crick
-RNA stands for Ribonucleic Acid.
-In the n2 base, we have Uracil in place of Thyamine.
-It is circular in nature
-It is single stranded.
Chargaff's Rule doesn't apply
Hope this helps

Answer:
The two main types of nucleic acids are DNA and RNA.
Deoxyribonucleic acid, a self-replicating material that is present in nearly all living organisms as the main constituent of chromosomes. It is the carrier of genetic information.
ribonucleic acid, a nucleic acid present in all living cells. Its principal role is to act as a messenger carrying instructions from DNA
- Both DNA and RNA are made from nucleotides, each containing a five-carbon sugar backbone, a phosphate group, and a nitrogen base.
- DNA provides the code for the cell’s activities, while RNA converts that code into proteins to carry out cellular functions
- RNA contains the sugar ribose, while DNA contains the slightly different sugar deoxyribose (a type of ribose that lacks one oxygen atom)
- RNA has the nucleobase uracil while DNA contains thymine..
