Yes i think, because all framers use the river water for irrigation so indirectly lake and river has economic benefits....

Yes I think, There are is economic benefits from river and lakes because

1 . water from the river is a basic natural resource, essential for human health, agricultural and industrial activities.

2 . River provides primary channels of inland transportation, not only directly in the form of navigable waterways, but also indirectly through their valleys, where roads, railways lines and other routes are built.

3 . lakes are used for developing hydel power
4 . lakes are a valuable source of water
5.Rivers when it goes through land it makes that land increase the fertility of soil.


Now, it clear that they are also have economic benefits.
