Answer:

Double circulation:: The blood flows twice through the heart and it is called double circulation.

1) The blood from all body parts is brought to right auricle which pumps it into right ventricle.Fron right ventricle blood is pumped to lungs (through pulmonary artery)for oxygenation.

2)The oxygenated blood from lungs is brought to left auricle which pumps it into left ventricle .From the left ventricle oxygenated blood is distributed to all parts of the body through largest artery called aorta.[This is second circulation].

IMPORTANCE OF DOUBLE CIRCULATION:

Double circulation not only allows a highly efficient supply of oxygen to body but it also helps in meeting the high energy needs .This high energy is mainly required to maintain the constant body temperature.

during single cycle blood goes twice in heart which is known as double circulation it is necessary in human being to separate oxygenated this make their circulatory system is more efficient and help in maintaining content body temperature.
