The basis of our double circulatory system is all about oxygen. The first loop is called the systemic circuit. In this loop, oxygenated blood moves from the heart to our body, where it off-loads oxygen to our muscles, tissues and organs. At the same time, this blood picks up carbon dioxide and other waste products.

Answer:
- The deoxygenated blood from body is taken to the heart through veins.
- This blood first enters the right auricle from superior and inferior vena cava and then through the tricuspid valves, it goes to right ventricle.
- Now , from here the deoxygenated blood goes to lungs for purification through pulmonary arteries.
- After purification , the oxygenated blood is transferred to left auricle by the pulmonary veins .
- From left auricle , it goes to left ventricle via the bicuspid valve.
- Now, from here it released out through aorta and is distributed in the body via arteries.
- In this process the blood enters twice the heart, so this process is called double circulation .
