the two male gametes released from the pollen grains which are deposited on stigma are carried by pollen tubes to egg and there
1st male gamete fuses with egg
2nd male gamete fuses with central cell and forms secondary nucleus.this phenomenon is called double fertilisation
triple fusion is said as due to the involved nucleus in the secondary diploid nucleus where 2 are of central cell and 1 nucleus of male gamete..
