The pollen tube enters into embryo sac by the secretion of synergids the pollen tube bursts and releases the two male gametes into cytoplasm of the synergids The process of fusion nucleus of second male gamete with the secondary polar nuclei to form primary endospermic nucleus this is also known as triple fusion it was discovered by nawaschin in lilium and firtillaria Inside the embryo sac one of the male gamete moves towards the egg cell and nucleus of male gamete fises with nucleus of egg to form zygote and this process is called as syngamy The occurrence of triple fusion and syngamy in an embryosac of angiosperm called double fertilization
