A).Duplet rule is is found only for some smaller atoms like hydrogen, lithium, beryllium etc. which loose or gain electrons to obtain a stable duet like Helium gas.

In this way, the  hydrogen atom which has only one electron in its outermost shell, it gains one electron to get a stable configuration of 1s2 like the noble gas Helium (He)

heya !!

--Duplet rule is is found only for some smaller atoms like hydrogen, lithium, etc which loose or gain electrons to obtain a stable duet like Helium gas or other noble gases.
--hydrogen has only one electron in its orbit ,
to attain a stable state it needs 2 e- to become stable like helium .
--likewise, the  hydrogen atom which has only one electron in its outermost shell, it gains one electron to get a stable configuration of 1s2 like the noble gas Helium (He) and hence hydrogen is formed.
